Helping people and organizations say what they mean.

I'm a Toronto-based writer and communications strategist. I've worked as a reporter, an editor, and in senior public relations roles for major non-profits.

What I'm up to lately:

I ghostwrite good things for good people. You'll love what you read, but you'll never know I was there (my nickname is "Spooky" for a reason).

I co-authored a book, Dating Vandalized, released on May 25. This was initially a ghostwriting project that turned into something more. You can read the Toronto Star story about it here

I write, edit, and consult on communications strategy for non-profit and corporate clients. Happy customers include MaRS Innovation, Synaptive Medical, ScarX, and Communicable Inc. (including work for Ryerson's DMZ, Wealthsimple, City of Toronto, Symbility, and Ritual).

I work as Director of Marketing & Communications for a provincial advocacy organization in the life sciences space.

I write a newsletter about self-discovery and relationships. You can sign up here.

I'm working on my next book. It's about the emotional distance between women and men, and how we can bridge that gap.

THE BIGGEST LIMITATION OF BEING HUMAN IS THE INABILITY TO JUMP INSIDE ANOTHER PERSON'S CONSCIOUSNESS -- TO SEE THE WORLD AS THEY SEE IT, TO BE INSIDE THEIR STORY.

That's where writers come in.

The world runs on content; so much of it gets lost because it doesn't really say anything. My special talent is helping people say what they mean -- in a manner that resonates.

Ultimately, I'm a storyteller. Not my story -- yours. That's why I'm great at what I do.
